IT’S A LOVE NEST
Dedication
The swiftlet nest is entirely made from the bird's saliva. It takes a pair of male and female swiftlets about 40 nights to complete a full nest.
Sharing
Both parent swiftlets take turn to go out to hunt for food. During the absence of the female swiftlet, the male takes over to incubate the eggs.
Precious
An egg normally hatches after 20 days of incubation. The parent swiftlets must guard their young against predators like snakes, lizards and ants.
Growing
Baby swiftlets grow up after 35 to 40 days and ready to fly for the first time. Young swiftlets will return to meet their parents in the evening and to roost.
A new beginning
Young swftlets mature after 10 months. After mating, the pair will seek suitable beginning sites to build their nest together.
Ingredients:
Rock Sugar Solution, Bird’s Nest
Note:
- This is a natural product. No preservative, artificial colouring or food stabiliser is added. Hence, the appearance might change over time and yet safe for consumption.
