- Wind-cold flu: Mild fever, aversion to cold, no sweating, headache, coughing, sneezing, not thirsty, no swelling at throat, running nose with clear watery discharge
- Wind-heat flu: Fever, aversion to wind, sweating or little sweat, headache, coughing, sneezing, thirsty, red swollen throat, blocked nose/running nose with thick discharge, yellow or white phlegm
- Things to note: A fever is a typical immune response, but be vigilant for unusual symptoms and seek professional help right away, if:
- Fever for over 3 days
- High grade fever (39 Celsius) for more than 48 hours
- Non-flu symptoms such as vomiting, numbness in hands and feet, slurring speech etc.
